Beekman Place is like no other location in NYC. This historic street has been home to Rockefellers, Irving Berlin, Greta Garbo, Gloria Vanderbilt, and other notables. Its mix of artists, diplomats, and those that want a quieter city-vibe gives it a distinctive mystique. The novel and films "Auntie Mame" even used a fictional 3 Beekman Place as the ultimate glamorous address. Apartment 10F sits in 2 Beekman Place: an oversized 1 Bed, 1 Bath home with great bones and lots of potential. Featuring large rooms, beamed ceilings, lots of closets and a European-style Juliet Balcony. There's even private basement storage included. All of this in a full-service, pre-war co-op with 24 hour doorman, landscaped and furnished roof deck, resident manager and elevator operator. Pets are welcome, building discounts on utilities, and a building-wide Culligan water filtration system. If financing, minimum 50% down payment is required. Take this as your sign to make this home yours in one of Manhattan's best enclaves.
